Rider Support

The Wyre Forest STINGER and mini-STINGER are fully supported events.

Both of the routes will be comprehensively signed with day-glo signage. Riders should have no problems seeing the signs and following the course. In the unlikely event signs are removed, as a backup, all riders will be issued with a detailed route card along with Emergency contact numbers.

There will be three feeding stations for the STINGER and two for the mini-STINGER en-route which will be extensively stocked with energy drinks and bars, as well as cakes, fruit and savoury items such as rolls and sandwiches. All stations are in village halls for extra rider comfort.

A broom wagon will sweep the course and will be on-hand to assist anyone participating in any of the three rides if they have a problem. First-Aid, mechanical help, and post ride massage will be available at the HQ.

Official photographers will be taking photos of you at various points around each of the courses. To identify each rider it is imperative, you must securely fasten your number to your handlebars, facing forwards.

Riders are recommended to have a minimum gear of 39x27.
